Your child's safety is our top priority. Here's how we keep Code SHEROs a safe space for learning.
COPPA Compliant
We follow the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. Parental consent is required before any child account is created, and we never collect more data than needed.
Data Privacy
We collect only what’s essential — a hero name, a 4-digit PIN, and learning progress. No real names, photos, or locations are required from children.
Parent-Controlled
Parents create and manage all child accounts. Screen time limits, activity reports, and account settings are all controlled from the Parent Portal.
No Open Chat
There is no public chat, messaging, or social features. Children interact only with the game content — never with strangers.
No Ads or Tracking
Code SHEROs does not show advertisements to children and does not use third-party tracking pixels or analytics that target minors.
Safe Content
All missions, stories, and characters are created by our team. There is no user-generated content and no external links within the child experience.
What We Collect & Why
Parent email address
Account creation, consent verification, and communication about your child’s account.
Child’s Hero Name
A nickname chosen by the child — not their real name. Used to personalise the game experience.
4-digit PIN
A simple, hashed secret code for child login. We never store it in plain text.
Learning progress
Missions completed, badges earned, XP gained — so children can track their journey and parents can monitor learning.
Avatar selection
Which SHERO character the child chose (Byte, Pixel, or Nova). Purely cosmetic.
We do NOT collect: real names, photos, locations, school names, phone numbers, or any other personal data from children.
Tips for Parents
Set a screen time limit in the Parent Portal to manage how long your child plays each day.
Review your child’s progress regularly — the Parent Portal shows missions, badges, and time spent.
Talk to your child about their missions! Ask them what code they wrote and what they learned.
Keep your parent email and password secure. Your child only needs their Hero Name and 4-digit PIN.
